Software giant Microsoft has officially announced that the company will be releasing its new operating system on July 29 2015. Windows 10 was launched on Developers conference Microsoft Build 2015.
Microsoft also said the company will be offering free updating to users of Windows 7 and 8.1 and will start sale for new PCs and tablets running Windows 10 will go on sale July 29 itself. The company is also giving the customers to buy the code for Windows 10 at the price of $119 for the consumer version, and $199 for the professional edition.
To check if your system is Compatible to avail Windows 10 free update follows the following steps.
Step 1
Go to Control panel, make sure that the view of your control panel is in category mode.
Step 2.
Go to Windows Update. Check for update.
Step 3.
If you system is all set and ready for the upgrade then a message will be display reverse your spot to upgate to Windows 10.
Step 4.
Otherwise youll see a list of devices and apps that aren't supported. If it is so then check support for the issue and if still you are unable then you will not able to WINDOWS 10
Step 5.
And if you are getting a positive response, then reserve your spot for windows 10 upgrade. You will receive a message that your spot has been book and you will get notification when the download of the update is completed and that would be after 29th July.
