To do this we will be using a third party app called the Cube Call Recorder. The apps is free and can come in handy to record calls and can be downloaded from Play store. Cube Call Recorder supports the automatic recording of incoming calls and calls recordings through various apps. The Cube Call Recorder in its Play Store description notes that the app can record phone calls, Signal, Skype 7, Skype Lite, Viber, WhatsApp, Hangouts, Facebook, IMO, WeChat, KAKAO, LINE, Slack, Telegram 6, and Messenger 6.
Step by Step Guide to Record a voice call on WhatsApp
Pre-requisites: (Record a voice call on WhatsApp)
* Android Smartphone with WhatsApp App
* macOS 10.13 or newer Version
* Audio output device and microphone for voice and video calls ..
* Camera for video calls
* Active internet connection on your computer and phone
A. For Android Phones: (Record a voice call on WhatsApp)
Step 1:
Install the Cube Call Recorder app on your Android Smartphone
Step 2:
Open Cube Call Recorder and then switch to WhatsApp.
Step 3:
Call the person you want to talk to.
Step 4:
Once enabled, the cube call widget will light up once enabled and in use. Users can select the Force VoIP call as a voice call if they get an error.
Step 5:
Repeat the steps, and in case the widget does not light up, it will not work on your device.

B. For iOS or iPhones: (Record a voice call on WhatsApp)
We already know that iPhones, Apple does not allow third-party apps to access the microphone and a phone app at the same time as a result of which the screen record feature and the voice memo recorder on your iPhone cannot be put to use.
However, Mac users can connect their iPhones to a lightning cable and can get the job done.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1:
On your iPhone, select Trust this Computer.
Step 2:
Open QuickTime on the Mac.
Step 4:
Go to File and select New Audio Recording.
Step 4:
Go to QuickTime, select the arrow pointing downwards next to the record button.
Step 5:
Select iPhone.
Step 4:
Press on the Record button in Quicktime.
Step 5:
Make WhatsApp call using your iPhone.
Step 6:
Press on the Add user icon, select the contact whose call you want to record.
Step 7:
Disconnect the call after the conversation is done.
Step 8:
Stop recording in QuickTime and save recorded files on the Mac.
